Make Peace with Water

Make sure you are Drinking Enough Water Every Day!!! The minimum recommended amount is by this formula:
1)Take Your Body Weight in Pounds
2)Divide this # in 1/2
3) Drink that # In Ounces per day!!
i.e.
1)  A person of 100lbs
2) Divided by 1/2 = 50lbs
3) Drink 50ounces of water per day!
~~~ I use a glass wine carafe w/ another pretty glass to ensure I drink 2 Litres (2 of those carafes)
"Stock in the Crock" Wholesome Snacks
This is a go-to snack of mine that I associate with Winter & the Holidays.
+Of course, I have the crockpot going, with it inside a wonderful smelling chicken broth from a leftover carcass I just baked.
+Sprouted Bread (Ezekial brand, or by ur local health food store - even Trader Joes has a 'sprouted' loaf of bread).
=Take a slice of bread, dip in stock (or if too hot, just drizzle some on top ~or even Soak it!). You may add freshly grated pepper. Delicious & Filling snack. (No prep time! As long as u got the stock in the crock going!)
    *this helps for the hungry times I am cooking those elaborate holiday meals for hours on end.
Homemade Broth from Turkey-Bone
LOVE Crockpots ;)
For our cats we make homemade Raw Food (Chkn,+) and supplement with some Cooked Organic Turkey. So I always have these leftover Turkey Bones. My Grandma showed me what to do with bones; taught me that when I was a little kid :)
I stopped adhering to a strict vegetarian diet (I went Vegan @ 16yrs old, then opted for Pescetarian for many years). My preference in the matter is this:
YES to:
-eggs
-honey
-yogurts,kefirs, soft cheeses
-Broth made from Poultry Bones
-cold water Fish, occasionally.
Of course still no to the big ones like Red Meat (although I've always liked lamb since having it in Ireland)..
Oh yeah, I always choose to let go of my eating style in lieu of a cultural experience :)
Healthy warm Grains
Simple.
Cooked Quinoa & cooked Brown Rice (short grain).
Douse with homemade broth from Turkey Bones.
Delicious. Especially for cool weather times ;)
Healthy Eating Today felt great! ; )
Good Morning Pineapple!
 I ate & drank the whole thing (almost! I gave some to Logan! ; )
....for a HAPPY tummy!!!
... then along came a salad
Quinoa (cooked in organic homemade Chicken Stock) w/ Red Swiss Chard (chop chop style), Mint leaves, Carrots, and Celery. salad dressing: Bragg's Liquid Amino Acids w/ Bragg's Organic Raw Apple Cider Vinegar and Extra Virgin Olive Oil with Dulse, fresh-ground Pepper & Celtic Sea Salt.
DELICIOUS.
Eating WELL All Day Long has landed me in a HAPPY Place - mentally & physically (especially tummy!). I drank a fair amount of water today and had a glass of homemade Kombucha 'tea' this morning. I smiled, jumped, yoga'd, danced, and I think I even whistled : )
******* I am not even hungry for dinner, which is odd! maybe cuz I ate like  a 4 servings salad @ 2 different times. But Logan, being a good husband, swooped in with delicious Organic Julie's Pint of Chocolate Ice Cream.  Oh I am a bad girl. Dairy? Oh My. I was totally committed to soy and all the other non-dairy alternatives to ice cream. so totally. : ) delicious and happy happy day.
